This is one of the nicest and spectacular floor lamps, the big version of the Pinocchio lamp designed by HtHa Busquet for Hala, Zeist 1955. Busquet was a well known and very important French designer, during the 1930s and 1940s he designed a lot of industrial lamps that are super expensive. In the fifties he moved to Holland and did a lot of designs for Hala as also for this lamp. That’s why these lamps have a high international value. This rare floor lamp has a fantastic black triangle shaped foot and a red ball ended weight. This lamp is in a super condition, black stem and red shade is a very nice combination. Works perfectly and is very nice as reading lamp. A must have for any Dutch Modernism design collector.
