Ilmari Tapiovaara daybed for Laukaan Puu 1955


Very rare daybed, designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Asko, edition Laukaan Puu Ltd 1955. Very nice pinewood daybed with black synthetic leather cushion. This bed is a very hard find and a must have for Finnish design lover / collector. This bed has very nice grained motive on the 3 shelves and looks great in contrast of the light wood with the black cushion. It has 2 cubed feet with very nice connections. Great to use and relax for a moment, a diamond to meet the eye. Perfect condition and would look great in a mid century modern design interior.
