Jan Boekhoorn abstract modern composition 1971


Nice sober abstract modern composition painted on hard board by Jan Boekhoorn (Nijmegen) in 1971. Jan Boekhoorn finished his school for monumental artist in Anhem 1961 and started his career after. Besides his monumental projects in mosaiek in glass or linoleum he made paintings in the same style. He used several techniques but the color-blue was an often returning characteristic. A lot of his works are hanging in Schools, universities and other government buildings, not only in Holland but also in Germany. Besides his work as an artist he was also a drawing teacher in Nijmegen. This beautiful work is in a very good condition and all original, frame included.
