Super rare floor lamp designed by JJM Hoogervorst for Anvia, Almelo 1950. This double shaded floor lamp is an early production of Anvia, to see as this is not that well made, it has some hand productions. This lamp is inspired on the French 1950s craze and looks a lot like the lamps of Jacques Biny or Pierre Guariche. The lamp is marked with the Anvia sticker on the inside and the yellow shades look typically fifties. This lamp is quite unique as this is only the second time I see it. Would be great to use it as a reading lamp and would fit any mid century modern related design interior. Lamp is in very good vintage condition with only minimal wear due to age and usage. A really Dutch modernist beauty here!
