RAAK ‘sterrenregen’ sconces by Jelle Jelles for Raak 1965


Rare pair of Raak sconces, called ‘sterrenregen’ designed by Jelle Jelles in 1965. The cut holes bent half outside for fantastic graphic light view. When you turn on the lamps, light jumps thru several holes, up and down behind the lamp and reflects on wall. A lamp with several light beams of several strengths and sizes. The shades were made of high quality metallic grey lacquered metal. Fantastic pair lamps, hard to find in a pair like this, perfect contained condition. Both lamps marked with the Raak sticker inside and have porcelain sockets as was the quality of RAAK. Would look fantastic in a mid century modern design interior from any period.
